Sorry if this has been asked before, but only after one three digit number from someone knowledgeable... or failing that from one of the regulars

On my island I want to build some tutorials high enough so they don't appear on the map... on the mainland I've got banners at 350m that do intentionally appear so I know it needs to be higher than that.. but how high?

It's not something I can set in estate tools is it?

I think 450 is the magic number. A skybox at 500 doesn't show.

Can't set in any preference (that I know of(, and I ~believe~ it is above 500m. I'm not 100% positive on that though.

I'd suggest building colored 10x10 platforms at 50m distance, giving enough space between them to be seperate on the map. Once the next update happens, you should easily be able to see what height is the cutoff from there.

That is, unless someone else knows for certain the exact number right now ^.^

And Jessica is right, it's a LL specified altitude. You have no control over it.

400m is the actual number. I tested this using various colored platforms at one point to see what would show up on the map and what wouldn't.
