Has anyone had any problems with their avitar looking asymetrical for no apparent reason? I do body shapes.... just started working on males.....and for some bizarre reason my guy has this freakish 'marbles in one side of his mouth' look. Since the sliders alter both sides at once...I don't see how this is even possible.....and nothing I do changes the fact that the face is warped on one side. I tried different skins, thinking maybe the particular skin I used was flawed....no dice...I still see the same odd bulge along the jowel line on one side.
Has anyone seen anything like that???? It's driving me insane! LOL

It may just be a glitch. I had problems with an item and I contacted the creator, who came and checked it out. He said the script had been corrupted. I've had friends tell me of other things that haven't worked properly. My item was brand new and I'm glad the creator fixed the problem. When was the last time you Cleared Cache? Or you might just need to wait for everything to get back to normal in your sim.

There is a slider for 'Shear' on some parts of appearances.. make sure you dont have that on, though this morning i was dancing and had a sort of hollow look to my head... yellow holes for eyes.. most disconcerting.. and the mouth was wierd too... maybe just SL being SL. imogen |

I AM the creator. LOL Not sure...I cleared cache and I'm going back in so hopefully the issue will be resolved. But the 'glitch' as it were....is the actual facial structure of the AV...it's not uniform....he either looks like one side of his jaw is melting...or maybe he's got a big wad of chew stuck in his lower gum.....LOL Either way... not pretty.
I'll double chack the sliders...perhaps I missed something critical.... let's hope.

The only time I see distortion of my av is if I've gotten too crazy swinging the camera around someplace and then tried to circle back to her. She winds up stretched and sort of melty looking, but that goes away as soon as I move her.

It's still there....every male shape I try (including those that exist in our noobie folders) has the same weird swollen jaw on one side. I cleared cache.... nothing is fixing the flaw. This is a nightmare since I do shapes to sell.... and unless a person is going for a hunchback of notre dame look..... they aint gonna sell looking like this! LOL
Incidentally... all the female shapes look fine....no issues at all.

Do others see you as described, or just you? If others can see the avatar correct, then it has to be a corruption in your client, but then you would see everyones else's male av's the same, hmmm, has me stumped.

I don't know... I'm in my house creating shapes to sell in my store...I'm a girl...so if I start walking around as a guy I'm gonna start having identity issues. LOL But... I just messed around with rebake textures and after a few tries...it seems to have dumped the glitch. Yay....I can now resume my regularly scheduled sculpting. *grin* (friggin game)
