I can only afford a 1,026 piece of land and have a nice skybox for a business. I just need to know what's the best way to boost sales and traffic. Plus looking for furniture or magazine's once people enter my store. Any opnion's on what should be there once you teleported to my store in order to say hey! I wanna buy here.
Any positive feedback would be awesome. Thanks you : )

It might be easier to help if we knew what you are selling. *smile* (and I think you meant 1024 land, since it comes in multiples of 16 meters)

Fast loading vendors. Attractive textures. A feel-good design. Things like this. (^_^)
I run my place on a 512 parcel with an extremely simple design. My store doesn't even have textures. But, I do plenty of things to load the vendors as quickly as possible and facilitate browsing. (^_^)
Beyond that; word-of-mouth promotion, some inworld advertising, and keeping your store in your picks are other moves to make. (^_^)
Also... Your forum sigline. If you plan to post here often, stick a SLURL there with a nice banner. It can't hurt. (^_^)y

Dont worry with furniture...

you need to save prims for the items you are selling, or the vendors. Use 1 prim vendors if possible, IM me inworld and I'll give you the name of the model I have, it is extremely low lag, and perfect if you are watching out for prim counts. After you have all set out that you are selling, then maybe think of things like furniture. Low prim furniture like Phil Deacons or others again to save on prims. Be sure and mark all to show in search, read the wiki pages for ideas how to help your ranking. Be aware tho they plan on doing more work to the search around mid month..so some things may change. Good luck!

This stickied thread has some excellent information on search: /327/b1/252152/1.htmlAs Priya mentioned above, there will be some changes to the search functions soon. Nevertheless, the thread will give you an understanding of how to optimize your store's parcel for search. Then you'll be in a better position to understand the tweaks we expect soon.
