Almost all objects gone in whole sim

huh, the sim I live has suddenly lost almost all items. Few walls still standing in the sim and some objects but almost all gone to a black hole. What can we do? Any hope to get our items back.
Land owner hasnt been online and so we havent got any answers from him.

Did you get a message and any items returned? As you can still access the land it doesn't sound like it's an issue of the land owner not paying his bill.

Contact the sim Owner and or Concierge if private region . If mainland contact LL and tell them to roll back the region. I have seen some regions lose almost all the prims after a restart but recovery can be done with a roll back

A friend of mine had this happen after a rolling restart . Exactly as you describe there were random items left like wals and parts of floors.
If you can not get ahold of the sim owner Call LL and tell them what happened

Also read the owner profile and see if there is a sim manager to contact.. they will also be able to work it out..

Jep ive been told that roll back would help, just now have to wait to get contacted with sim owner first I guess. Before all this happened the sim was very laggy and nothing seemed to work there.

Is this estate or mainland? That makes a big difference.

I had most of my mainland home - 15 or so different residents there - get nuked last year.

Visit a few different parcels and check the Objects tab in About Land. Did all the land-owner owned objects get poofed? That's what happened in my region, which LL refused to roll back.

I've had this happen on both estate and mainland, estate they rolled back for me, mainland they wouldn't.

I had this happen to me when I lived on an estate. I was upstairs in my bed. Resting. Walls, floors, disappeared. Bed remained. So I'm on a hovering bed looking around at everyone.

Estate owner had decided to change everythng to group objects only and to return everything else. I set all my stuff to group but didn't know the building wasn't set to group. As that building was set up by the estate owner.

Lots of buildings disappeared when autoreturn was turned on.

Did the permissions changed?

This is an estate. And all parcel owned items gone. All or most group owned items left, not sure about that now. But also many group owned items gone as well. There seems to be no logic whats gone.

it could be one of those griefer attacks where they end up pummeling the sim with prims and prims end up being returned..maybe the sim crashed and not everything was sent back and the crash stopped the attack..
i am totally taking a stab at this but maybe it's possible..

I didn't want to post that theory but I strongly suspect that's what happened on my mainland. There would appear to be a bug where newly rezzed objects aren't always the returned objects in a temp rezzer situation that fills a parcel.

Well Lindens did the roll back and everythings back again !!!!

Hopefully everything is back except the lag

then how would you know you were logged into SL?!
