Hi there I just wanted to know how I can give objects from my inventory to another avatar. I have been given quite a few things now from more experienced avatars and I just wondered how it was done

Well, if the item is 'transferable', you can always click on it without releasing your finger, and drag it onto the avatar, or better (safer as to not lose the item if they are moving) onto their profile page.

in their profile you will see a place that you can drag the item to i believe the spot on the profile is called inventory in fact  it's on the main page of the profile |

If the item is non-copy, a little box will pop up to asking if you really want to give it away.
Not only can you drop objecs to other people, but you can give them any type of inventory item and entire folders - though there is a limit on the number of items within the folder being given. Anything you are trying to give must be transferable.
