This is how I spent every single one of our events, click click click click, as people tip (two clicks for those), people win at the money ball (as many as entered, times two, one for taking it in, one for paying it back out), etc.
How the HELL do I stop this? I don't need to know about every $3 win!!

Edit/Preferences/General tab, I believe.. L$ transaction notification check off. I think.  |

Loads of fun when you are building or trying to pose items and you get the linden recieved notification. Yes i would recommend disabling it...
edit/prefs/ general tab/ notify when lindens are spent or recieved

-i thought it was to disable sound of transactions, not the case for me ?!

Below the threshhold it's silent, above the threshold you get the sounds. I think it would be 92.7% more useful if you could set thresholds for the blue notification popup, and don't give a damn about the sound effects. I don't care if I put L$10 into a tip jar, but I like to know if I've recieved someone's rent for the month. -Atashi

lol hi, that was a fast response  thats what i figured, i rarely have the sound on , but the current version does play the sound at L$1 transactions for me ? *ill try clearing cache and user=settings ?, funny i never played with the setting ? edit: >> solved: my son changed the settings , didnt expect that  << *indeed would be nice to have a threshold for the text-notification too, imo |
