Please help.
Probably a simple cure but how the hell do I turn off the pop-ups that appear when my cursor hovers over ANYTHING including menu items. It is driving me mad.

My undying gratitude to anybody who can help.

View ->Hover Tips -> Uncheck Show Tips

or Ctrl Shift T

Thanks Oryx but that does not help. If i point at, for instance, the tool menu header a white box appears containing the words " /Menu_Viewer.xml/Tools " and this happens on every item I point at including the items in my inventory, which makes it difficult to read.

Hello Del, sorry I'm not on my home SL machine so can't check this. I wonder if you accidently switched something on with a hotkey combination. I'd look through options in the View, Debug and Client menus if you haven't already. You might have to enable the Debug menu if not visible.

Possibly you have managed to put a check at Client / XUI / Show XUI Names .
