Bulgokov!!! I picked up my dog-eared copy of The Master and Margarita to read in the sun, and it suddenly occurred to me that SL is the one and only place that one could recreate Satan's ball, and in fact the entire fantastical ending of the book, for less than millions of dollars.
Has anyone done that? I want to see! Are there any Russians here in the forums?
I have in inventory, for example, a pile of stuff that Falln gave away last Halloween, GREAT props for this (for those not familiar, guests arrive in their coffins and death-clothes as half-rotted corpses falling into the ballroom through a cavernous chimney - their coffin shatters and disappears, their flesh is reconstituted magically. The men appear in evening wear, whereas the women are generally nude except for heels, a feather headdress, and whatever props they need to convey their bold or piteous story).
If not, this would be a FANTASTIC Cartel Halloween party! We could adjust the dress code, of course ...
(The ball starts in chapter 22 of the book. The book is part theological discourse, part a tale of star-crossed love, part socio-political farce).
