Because i know that many clubs have contests in which people win L$ by entering the contest board and i would like to know if such contests violate the TOS by doing so or not.

Is there an upfront fee?

Is the winner chosen at random?

If both are true it's gambling.

If it is the types of contests I see most of in clubs then the contests are free to enter, free to vote and the winner is chosen by the number of votes. Nothing random, nothing gambled - no problem with the ToS.

Yep, not gambling since the winner is determined 100% of the time by who can TP in the most friends and alts to vote for them. :p
