For a couple of weeks now, every two to three days I have to pick up my seagulls, sharks, fish in fish tank and the ones in the outside water because they freeze and won't start moving again no matter what I do to them. Resetting scripts, touching them and using their menus don't work either.
This is freaking frustrating and time consuming as you have to then replace them in the same order they were in, in the first place. This is really begining to wear thin on me. This is why I've sold one of my two places as I'm really not feeling this place anymore.
Instead of pretty scenery they should concentrate on fixing all this shit that's all messed up already. But the thing is even their prized new sceneries suck too as most players are having problems there too. I don't understand, they're always posting fixes they say they've done in sl. You see these long and extra long lists of things they've supposedly fixed, yet, all you continue to see are things all broken down all over the damn place.
Bunch of incompetents!!

Hello! My name is Inigo Montoya! You killed my father. Prepare to die!
Anyhow, what, you don't like hovering birds and such? Just because they've learned a new tick ('stay') and want to show it off is no reason to shove them back in a box and yank them out again every few days!

Welcome to the club Ric. I posted this same problem you're having not too long ago and was told it's a bug. As if what it isn't. Everyone seems to be having this problem with rotating scripts I believe. It's a real pain I know.

I really find it odd... I keep hearing about the rotating things stopping and such, but have yet to see it for myself. Things that I have rotating are still rotating just fine, and I don't see any motionless birds or anything, even in stores where they have them on display since the store opened (Or something)

This is supposedly for the rotating scripts problem, but the same bug may be cause all the animals sticking. Rotation Scripts (llTargetOmega) not working http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1910

But now, seagulls and my bald eagle stop in mid flight. Below, sharks, turtle and fish do the same. Once I pick them up and re-place them they will work fine for a few days, then back they freeze up again. Its time consuming because you need to place them in the same spots as they were before. Wish they take care of this already.

Wish they take care of this already. to place them in the same spot should only take an extra maybe.. 15-20 seconds per item. If it's taking longer than that, then maybe you're doing it the hard way? Simply go to the edit box, and write down the 3 'position' coordinates, then with the new copy rezzed, fill in those boxes and it will be right back where the last one was, in very little time.

Resetting scripts, touching them and using their menus don't work either. It's a Havok4 issue, from all I've gathered. Some things have been fixed by their creators (contact them directly), and other things are still borked. The other night I pestered Sidewinder Linden about problems with the hugger I use and, in later parts of the conversation, he mentioned work being done to fix target omega. Target omega is largely used for rotation objects, which would include a lot of animals (fish in fishtanks, those cool sculpty dolphins that aren't moving on Livingtree right now, etc.). Word was that a fix was in the pipeline and going through internal testing. So that's someting. So... ya. First, check with the vendor an see if they have an upgrade. Other than that, ride em out, I suppose. :-/ Mari
