From the blog: [7:40 AM] There are about 300 regions which are currently down. We are working to return these regions to good health in about 45 minutes with no content loss. We will keep you updated in this post as the situation progresses.

To make matters worse, every one of the regions that went down were sims that people paid too much for.

If not: On the login screen, Edit/Preferences/General, check the box "Show Starting Location on Login Screen". Then use the pulldown in the location box to choose <type region name> and type in whatever sim name you like. "Kirkby", for example, would log you in at Linden Village. . |

. sorry i am responding so late but yes youcan do that on the regulare viewer... however i am running windlight which does not have that option. |
