My account wont log off from the servers,from the last time i signed out,now if i try to sign back in it gives me a message saying my account is currently logging off try back@_ _:_ _ time(1-2 mins)

This may be the ghost avatar problem. Do you have an alt you can log in as. If you do, sending your lingering avatar an IM sometimes helps to knock them off.
If you don't have an alt, I can log in briefly and send you an IM if you like. It may help.
EDIT: You are indeed registering as currently online. Tried to bump you offline but nothing happens. You may have to file a support ticket to get LL to knock you offline.

I also find that if I change from logging in to "Home" to logging in to "My Last Location" or vice versa it often seems to get past this, even if my last location was actually at my home point.

Also, reboot your modem/router, because sometimes they don't want to let go of the connection. I know of one instance where my husband and I both couldn't log back in because our accounts weren't logging out. Rebooted the home network and was able to get right back in.
All else fails, have Linden Labs restart the sim. That should kick loose the connection.
