Can anyone explain exactly what the PioneerX Estates company does in relation to Second Life?.... http://www.pioneerx-estates.co.uk ....I don't quite understand what they do. I thought outside servers don't work on the Second Life system.

Doesn't look to be related to the SL grid at all. Looks like a separate Open Source grid/private regions.

either they have an office in SL where you can pay them or they refer to their own currency as L$ as wel because the viewer always calls inworld currency L$ nomatter what grid.

Yes, you use the same viewer software that you use in SL so building is the same only OSgrids alow prims upto 100 meter, several 3th party viewers have a way to import and export your own builds but offcourse importing prims larger then 10 meter will not work in SL.

It does nothing in relation to Second Life. It's an outfit that offers servers/serverspace to host sims that are connected to OSGRID, which uses a reverse engineered, incomplete, version of SL.

I see no contact information on the site, which means that I would not do any business with them.
