This is probably the dumbest question ever, but how do you know or figure out how many meters your property is along any given side? If it's not perfectly square in shape, especially. I know it must have something to do with how many square meters it is if it's a perfect square or perfect rectangle, but is there a way to find out the length from Corner A to Corner B just by itself?
Thank you in advance for helping!!!

As far as I know, the only way is to lay down measuring prims, end to end from one corner to the next. If it is a rectangle, then you can figure all sides based on one and knowing the total area. If it is really odd shape, then you'll have to measure each side with prims.

It's not precise, but for most applications, one does not need exact precision; but, what I do is turn on the option for showing parcel boundaries, then I stand at one corner of the parcel, and note the coordinates at the top of the screen. Then I walk to the next corner, note the new coordinates, and calculate the offset from that. Like I said, it's not precise, but it will get you within +/- 1 meter.

All property boundaries are in multiples of 4m, as 4m x 4m is the smallest land subdivision allowed. So any measurements only need to be accurate to the nearest 4m edit: 1000th post - only took me 3 years

https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Viewer_menu#View_Menuhttps://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Viewer_menu#View_MenuView Menu > Property Lines - Toggles visibility of parcel and region property boundaries in the 3D view area. Parcel colors: green = your land, blue = your group's land, red = someone else's land, orange = land for sale, purple = auction land. Region boundaries have double lines. Boundaries have tick marks every 4 meters, which corresponds to the smallest land unit (4x4 meters).

Toggle on View/Property Lines.
If you can't see all the land (there's any water on your parcel, or prims in the way), hit CTRL+ALT+D to display the Advance menu, then go to Advanced/Rendering/Types and UNcheck Water and/or Simple.
Now you can see the whole parcel unobstructed.
Right click the parcel and choose Edit Terrain.
Choose "Select1 Land".
Drag a box from one corner to the next. Each little "click" increment is 4 meters. Count the number of increments and multiply by 4 to get the dimension.
Repeat for the other dimension.

Put a prim on the ground in each corner, position them tothe nearest meter, draw a rough mapo on some paper, write down the (X,Y) location of each prim on it, then find someoe smart in basic mathmatics and Pythagoras theorem

From: DanielRavenNest Noe Boundaries have tick marks every 4 meters, which corresponds to the smallest land unit (4x4 meters). Wow - I never noticed the little tick marks before, but then I am usually cammed out and looking at the overall boundaries from afar.
