It freezes every time i try to log on.. please help

When i try to log in all i get is "Logging in..." and stuck with barely any of the loading bar filled.. i tried reinstalling it multiple times and restarting my computer and nothing helps x_x can someone tell me what's going wrong

Is this situation "new"?

That is have you successfully logged into SL before? It sounds like to me that you may not
have enough ram. That is one of the common reasons for comps to freeze up.

What are the specs on your computer and your graphics card?

I have been experiencing the same problem as of a few days ago. I have never had a prob logging in before. Everytime I try to log in, the program gets as far as "intializing VFS" and then the screen goes black and freezes. I tried unintalling and reinstalling and it still keeps getting stuck and freezes in the same place while loading.

I had this problem a while back too. I had to remove SL and reload it. I found that I needed to find the folder where the cache is kept and actually manually delete it. Hope that helps.

Could you tell me how to find this folder? I'm using windows vista.
