LL used to have codes for gifting premium accounts to others online. I think they dropped doing that before the free account thingy started, but they did drop them because they weren't selling.

I don't know if they've considered a premium account gift card. It would save those that fear using their credit cards online a bit of worry and might encourage others to go premium, if their friend buys them one as a prezzie.
