Dropping objects

Something I never tried before: dropping an attached object to the ground, using the pie menu. However, I find that it does not work all the time. I know about land settings, and the drop works as expected on other parcels, but somehow it does not work on my own land, where I'm the group owner (and "Create Objects / All Residents" is switched off) while wearing the right tag.

Is this a known issue with SL? or just a temporary glitch?

well if you drop an item and it hits someone maybe they are afraid that LL gets a Abuse Report for the pyschological damage caused?
