Particles being such a pain in the ass in SL some times, and recent news got me wondering; has anyone in SL come up with an experiment like the LHC (Large Hadron Collider), you know, to see if we can smash particles together and find the god-prim? I'm sure it would still be somewhat 0.5m cubed and made of ply wood, but what secrets would it reveal to us?

That the secret of the SL Universe is "Wooooooot?"
Why do you feel particles are a pain? I must be missing something. They don't really bother me.
Oh yeah, I recently followed a landmark to an old store that has been replaced by a dance club. I TP'd in, was greeted by the hostess who promptly erupted in a burst of rainbow colored drippy drop things that filled my whole screen.
I said, "Excuse me, I'm having a flashback," and TP'd back out.
But I wouldn't call that a pain exactly. It would be fun to see a particle display of a collision resulting in all the curlicues you see in particle accelerator experiments. Would make a nice rave particle effect.

Actually, there is a place called 'the Particle Lab' and it is one of the best places to learn about particles. I'm waiting for someone to make a Large Hadron Collider Sex Club.

From: Landing Normandy has anyone in SL come up with an experiment like the LHC (Large Hadron Collider), you know, to see if we can smash particles together and find the god-prim? I just hope no one tries to make a black hole. Why, that might make SL crash!
