After a tongue-lashing from my 86 year old mother for spending $100.00 on SL property from my RL “fixed-income” retirement check, I remain a proud owner of four 512 sqm of contiguous parcels in Fumb (Many thanks to those who gave extensive comments on my posts re Continents, World Map, and 10,000 Meter Skybox. MUCH appreciated).
a. How many communities in Sansara? Is there an index somewhere? Mine, Fumb, has a further name, Flat Stone. What geographical division is that? b. Is there a wiki to describe tabs within About Land? Some details are easy (e.g. no covenants, Mainland) but others need explanation. c. **Re: Options, Media and Access, these tabs are NOT greyed out and anyone could change settings. Can’t I do my own editing, then lock it down? d. How do I remove Building/Rezzing Not Allowed icon from top menu bar? (and Scripts Not Allowed)? e. Any recommends on URL’s or SURL’s for pre-fabricated structure sales? I want to start with a simple underground kick-back place – will I need classifieds for that, or can they be pre-fab. too?

Congratulations on your piece of Mainland! I doubt if anyone has actually counted the regions in Sansara. It's kind of a difficult job in this case because, of all the continents, Sansara has the least well-defined boundaries, with weird hunks of Linden special sims hanging off semi-attached, and that water corridor through ANWR toward the Atoll: which continent gets to count ANWR? Anyway, Sansara is pretty big, and might account for 15-20% of the Mainland sims. Say, maybe, 700 or 800-ish? (I don't know Fumb and can't get in-world to figure out what "Flat Stone" might mean; I assume Fumb is the region name; perhaps "Flat Stone" was the name somebody gave your parcel? If so, you can change that, in About Land.) It's not great, but may answer some questions concerning the About Land window. On the Options, Media, and Access tabs, anyone can see the settings (and it's kind of important that they can), but only the owner (or group members in certain roles, on group-deeded land) can actually make changes. The no-build and no-scripts icons come from settings on the Options page, and correspond to the relevant settings for "everybody" (not just "group members" . Lots of places to find pre-fab structures; might try Search, or look through the New Products section of the Forums. I'd suggest, however, considering a skybox to start, just because they can be inexpensive and will be much less laggy than a build on the ground. But if subterranean living is your dream, go for it! You'll certainly get some practice with the terrain editing tool that way.

Except that the Media URL can be hidden, at least in the 1.22 viewer, though it's easy to find it other ways.
