Is there any way to find where the pictures located on the splash page where taken in world? I often see places that I would like to visit but can't seem to find where the pictures actually depict.

Me too. I love the bizarre organic cliffs or bluffs I've started seeing. I'm pretty sure I've been to the garden with the swans and the rain, but can't for the life of me remember where.

Perhaps LL could include a sim name... but then everyone will be up in arms about favouritism.

The ultra-realistic 1950s one, with the car in it, is the Refuge and Expansion by the wonderfully talented AM Radio, and is at Welsh Cove. Certainly worth a visit.

Personally, the one that gives me the most kicks is the one with the freaky lady with a lamp, walking through the forest with a dead Trout hanging from her hand. That one always makes me smile for some reason.

I agree it would be helpful to have a sim name, but like you said that would probably cause issues. Refuge and Expansion is an amazing place and I highly suggest it. The fish one is hilarious.

I saw one this morning with penguins and a lady walking through blowing snow. It was definitely a place I would love to visit if I could just find it.

See http://torley.com/why-i-dont-consistently-post-slurls-with-hi-res-snapshots - this will give at least some of the background.

For me, I would really love to get a copy of the fish the girl is holding (with mod permissions). It's excellent!

/me needs a good-looking fish, for not particularly nefarious reasons. A nice realistic one like that would be nice - if I build one, I think I'll have to go for goofy rather than realistic, given my texture skills!

But....slightly nefarious??

(j/k)

Seriously, I'd love to visit the place with the swans. (And I liked today's Penguin one, too.)
