took me forever to figure out how to get to the forums cause the website took me to an odd place. how long has SL been down today? anyone know why or ETD?

Oh - and to answer the OP -- This is from the Grid Status page:
Inworld services issues Posted by Status Desk on November 16th, 2008 at 12:22 pm PST Due to a on overload on our main database, you might see several inworld services not working as desired at the moment, such as transactions timing out, attachment and rezzing problems, teleports failing and login issues. Please do refrain from making transactions or rezzing no-copy items at this time. We are working to resolve this, and will update here as soon as we have more information. _____________________

Well, it would not be the first time that the Grid Status page is not FULLY up to date -- that page will just SOMETIMES let us know that LL know that LL knows there are problems.
Actually - the status post does say LOGIN ISSUES. _____________________

I was just able to get in. It was a bit slower loading, but that was a bout it. I TP'ed to a couple of places OK, before logging back out.
