I'm doing an SL economy project for my Econ marco class and I was wondering if any SL business owners will be willing to answer some interview questions. Please post your SL name, business name, and type of business if you want to answer my questions and I will try to send it to you in a few days. I know this might be the wrong forum for this.

The sandbox and general topic forums were 'open UNTIL Monday' but that was in 2006, so your not going to be able to post there anytime soon, or ever again  If your going to do an interview, it helps to be observant. |

what we need is a stickied post with all the survey questions in it, with it done in poll format, and then whomever needs it just take what they need

what is it that draws folks to want to do a report on SL, do they expect it to be easy?

There are a number of economic analysis threads on the New Worlds Notes blog, and there are also some good posts in Residents Answers that include pretty deep and thoughtful discussions on that topic as well. You might be better off diving into those and doing your paper based off of those, with selective interviews with some of the names that pop up from that.

you can notecard it and drop it on me in world, not sure when I will be released from the hospital
hooking me up to IV sometime today, so at least another day or 2.
When I am able to get in world and get the card I will read through it and see what I can answer for you
I do not have staff so not sure what kind of wages you mean
and my business is more of a hobby that as long as it pays for the tier I am happy

I'd recommend going in world and looking for businesses that have employees and dropping a notecard on them about it.
Most of us don't have employees, due to the ease in which we can set a prim for sale or vendors that do the work of sales for us. So, to keep our prices low, we don't hire underlin.. hench.. err, employees.

My wages this month I sold two flowers, earned 40L for length of time
it took I may gotten 4L$ a hour.
Don't really consider it wages. Majority of business based on stats
probably earn about the same amount or little more.
It is public relations plow I think for SL but very few of residents earn
a wage over 5,000 usd a month, bit more maybe at the 100 usd mark but
still a small percentage.
