Radio Streaming Not Working?

Anyone else having any problems with their streaming internet radio?. Mine has stopped working, my tenants have stopped working and they are complaining, and I´ve been to a couple of places where I know there is normally background music, and there is nothing.
Anyone else, or just me?

Mine are working, both my mainland feed and my alt's feed on an island estate half the world away.
I'm afraid I don't try other regions. I might accidentally hear a Britney Spears song or some such. [shudder]

mines playing up too. just tried to set a juke box style radio up for a resident...the one on the same parcel works in its location...nada anywhere else...its pretty random, some place son our island work..some arent, ive relogged..nada zilch.. one of those dailt glitchy things i guess...it wil clear..it always does

I just came to ask about the same thing. I can't get the streams to work anywhere when I know everyone else can hear them just fine. I checked my settings and everything is what it should be.
For me it started happening a couple days ago but a relog would fix it but as of last night it no longer works.

Thanks Mine quit working too. Tenants are not happy. I've tried to contact my radio's creator, but no response, and there isn't another copy version radio that I've been able to find....anyone know of a source?

I just bought a whole pile of cds of Karajan conducting the Berlin Phil. But also recently bought White Stripes, James Blunt and, yes, I have Britney in my cds. Tush! Weston - turn up the volume!!! On teh subj of radio in sl - is there any way I can get BBC 1,2,3 and 4 into sl?

If you are listening to a stream thats included in the radio, dont forget to take into account loads of others on the grid will probably be listening too. Best thing is to go to the shoucast website and look the stream up. Chances are its at maximum listener capacity which would explain why its so random.

Not yet no because BBC still use the ancient realplayer protocols to stream, and so far SL can only use shoutcast based streams. |
