What makes my avatar's head turn automatically toward the person that last typed?
I would have thought my head would turn to the sound of the click clack of their typing but I turn my head after they hit enter.

It's a setting, where the setting is, I can't recall for the life of me! I think it's in the debug, but don't quote me on it.

Anyways, you'd think that the head would turn when your avatar hears the typing. I mean, if I heard typing in RL, I'd turn my head towards it! But, apparently, the head only turns when something is actually said/sent. Guess it's to clear up confusion or something.

I think it's because your avatar is deaf - only you can hear the typing, but the avatar only knows when the message has been sent.

Specially fun when a bunch of people around you are all taking at the same time. I looked like Linda Blair the other night.

If you go to debug settings....and find 'playtypinganimation' and select false....it should eliminate that (most of the time lol). Also....if you use an AO, often times the AO overrides those pesky head movements and you don't have to worry about becoming Linda Blair in a crowded room. LOL The head movements annoy the hell out of me.....especially when I'm working on photos and my avatar is bouncing her head around like a grass skirted bobble head doll on the dashboard.....ugh...hate it. LOL
