Seems this was fixed a few changes back, but i see and hear of it happening again very often. Is there a fix on the client side?
Thanks for any help..and have a fun day in SL removing your hair from your crotch

Does anyone else still have this problem, where when you TP or get TP'ed somewhere you end up with your hair, shoes, jewelry packed into (very odd) places, other than where they should be?

Happens to me occasionally. Usually I TP home or to another location and things are OK again.

Oh yeah, I get this all the time - it's especially fun being a dog avatar - after a few sim crossings my parts get scrambled up so bad I look like a monster that came up from the bottom of a lake. The other day my head literally ended up in my ass.
I keep a copy of my avatar and HUDs in an easily accessible folder and just drag the folder on me to get back to normal. _____________________

If you are OK with running unofficial clients, the most recent Nicholaz builds seem to have tamed this problem well.

It seems to depend on where you are teleporting to. I only have the problem teleporting to older sims; Transylvania, but not newer sims; Daz island. Of coarse older sims are the ones that seem to crash on a daily bases; or some times several times a day.
I don't really go to what used to be my favorite sim, seems the place crashes every couple of hours. It doesn't help that there was a major break up of the family which seemed to suck the soul right out of the sim. _____________________

I switched (back) to the Nicholaz client mid-December and I literally have not had one misplaced attachment even after many, many teleports often to very busy regions and wearing tons of attachments (equine avatar). |
