SLurls not working since installed update

Hello fellow residents,

I'm hoping someone can help me or, at the very least, let me know that i'm not the only one experiencing difficulties.

Having installed the updated viewer today (as per instructions) i now can't get any SLurls to work.

It's never been a problem in the past so i can only conclude it's something to do with the update.

Anyone else having problems? Anyone know what to do about this?

My browser is Mozilla Firefox (latest version) if that helps.

Perhaps check "about:config" in Firefox (just type that into the address field; it will probably make you promise to be careful), and search for a Preference for network.protocol-handler.app.secondlife ... if that is set to a location where SL isn't anymore, SLURLs won't work, in which case you should be able to manually edit the value to correspond to the new location.

However, i did a reboot and the problem resolved itself. So, lesson learned: when in doubt, reboot!

Qie - I am all of a sudden having the same issue. I went into my Firefox config and I do not even have the parm that you mentioned (network.protocol-handler.app.secondlife). Can I manually add it and if so, how does it get set? Before, no matter which version of SL viewer I was using (official or third party), the slurls always worked with whatever was the active running one. I also noticed yesterday that urls in Chat/IM no longer work either -- I get some message about it being invalid format or something like that.
