Sometimes when I am moving something while building it will just move way too far and I lose it. How can I find it again?
Somewhere out there is a nice Birch tree hanging out on someone's land hehe.

open the minimap and fly around any blue that appears are your objects and as far as i know, the blue layer is ontop of the gray layer (others stuff) all the time, easy to find dissapearing items in the surrounding area  |

If you look on your mini map, all your objects will be blue. Try flying around the sim while keeping an eye on the mini map and eventually you'll locate it. If not, some parcel owner will eventually hit auto-return...unless it's on a piece of unused or Linden land...then it could be there for a loooooong time.
