The Shelter and NCI are the best places for new users. Bring up search, go to places and pick one of these. It's great.. (I'd send you a landmark, but I'm not in world.)

There is a NEW RESIDENT KIT that will help you with a lot of things but there is nothing better the experience! For the NEW RESIDENT KIT do a PEOPLE SEARCH on LUCREZIA LAMONT and look at his PICKS. Select the NEW SL RESIDENT tab and teleport there and you will be at a small booth. BUY the NEW SL RESIDENT KIT for 0L$ (FREE). That should get you started.

If you need more help, feel free to IM me and I'll give you a hand.
