Noober Question / Help

It was only a matter of time until I did something like this. So last night I buy an old Zyngo off a kind resident. After buying it I dopped it on my roof to start configuring it when I accidentally clicked on attach to hud. So then all I see over my screen is the skin of the game. So then I clicked on it and selected detach. A second later it showed up in my inventory above the Library folder, then crashola to desktop. I started the viewer back up and it was gone. I tried clearing the cache several times, logging into a water zone and tried logging in from another pc with no sign of it. I also searched my land and even removed everything to see if it was hidden, but had a prim count of zero. I also used an item scanner, which did not find it. I submitted a support ticket on this. I searched the forums pretty well last night and this was about all I found find to do. Am I missing anything?

oh ugh. that doesn't sound good. if it's lost on the sim somewhere, LL can do a sim restart. I don't know if they can recover no copy items that got lost in the netherworlds...

Have you checked at the 0,0,0 co-ordinates of the sim?

... and if you find my dolphin, please can you send him back.

They need to remove that option to attach from in-world.
