so i decided to move my home, instead of taking it into invintory and re-rezzing it i decided to just sit on it, select it and all it's items and move it that way seeing as i was only moving on the same sim about 2 to 3 hundred meters away.

once i had the place in it's new position a noticed a few of my smaller items missing, including a zooby sleeping cat that means alot to me as it was named after a RL pet who passed away. i tryed alot of different ways of locating these items. flying around for quite a few hours with highlight transparent or wire frame on. one item was a fairy that i made a cage for, still had the cage, no fairy, so i used ctrl z to back track it's progress and followed it, no fairy appered in the cage. i back tracked quite a few other items to see if i could find my missing ones, no good.

i was wondering if any of you had any other tips for finding lost items or if there is perhaps a script i could use that can zoom around the sim checking items names and send me back it's co-orinates. i'm sure if i found one i would find all the rest. unfortunatly most of them are no copy and some can't be re-bought (2 rare 7 sea's fish).

thank you in advance for your help and tips

-Crunch

I have a gadget called an oct-o-scanner, made by the Paradise Blanket people, which searches out whatever's loose on your property...

I think there is a gadget called Scan-Foo which can do this. Look for Crystalshard Foo and go to her store.
