Now, this lil' Domme needs just the right hair to go with an all-black, all-over latex and thigh-high boots number. Couldn't find it anywhere.
Now I found it, but not in SL - in a movie clip: it's Angelina Jolie's gorgeously long and prehensile pig-tail, with everything else severely tied back - from the film Beowulf*, the scene where she is wearing dripping gold and nowt else. (Now I am mostly straight, but she is magnificent!).
Long way of asking, but has anyone made such hair in SL?
VD
*which I wasn't going to see until a) I saw that Neil Gaiman did the script - he's an awesome author! and b) I saw the clip of Angelina Jolie.

I would check with Leetah Moxie of Curl Up N Dye; she's great for her "themed" hairs... has some great Leia, Amidala, etc stuff.
I don't think she has a specific Beowulf hair out but if you sent her a notecard, she might be interested.

To get that effect, you will need to own a skin with hair, and then just buy the ponytail.

and now I suddenly want to see this movie....
the pony could be achvieved through a bit of scripting, but I doub't it'll live up to standards. still there are several tail script that could probably be modified for the purpose

I've seen a Angelina Jolie avatar at a place called Bodies by Blake. You buy the shape there and along with the shape you receive a notecard that gives you LM to skin and hair to complete the look.

I would buy hair that looked like hers in Gone in 60 Seconds. In black.
That movie was a disappointment. She's got headline billing, but a minor character. I felt robbed.
But now I think I must see Beowulf.

From: Love Hastings But now I think I must see Beowulf. For the record, Beowulf was fantastic. Not just Jolie's hair, the whole move And if anyone finds that hair, please let us know!

I own hair sort of like that! Well it's actually a braid and bangs (sold separately) from SkyShop. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Heaton/64/126/0(Ski Resort&Shop, Heaton (78,189,296) The braid is called (wouldn't you know it) eLite Tombraider braid. You can change it to any colour you like. Having a skin with hair 'painted' on would probably be your best bet if you want Angelina's look in Beowulf. Or you can match it to bangs they offer.

And wouldn't an appropriately coloured baldie do the trick also?

You know, you ask a good question. WTH are baldies anyway? I know they 'cover' your head and hair, and you can change the colour of your eyebrows, but since they 'blend' in with whatever colour skin you have on, are they invisible? Can the be coloured?

Thanx Colette. You'd think the little 'hair' picture next to my baldies in my invo would have given me a clue as to what they were. You'd think - but you would be wrong. Sometimes I wonder how I would manage SL without this forum and all of you.

Sometimes I wonder how I would manage SL without this forum and all of you. I'm just so SLold that even my first prim hair had an actual hair base the prims stuck into. Thats why most hair was black back then to hide the matching problems caused by that. I predate "baldies" LOL Of course there are those on here who predate Prim hair at all .. sceery.
