I've been trying to transfer a couple of parcels of land from my group to myself. I set the land for sale fine. However when I right click the buy land option isn't available. So I go to about land, click on buy land and then I get a buffer overrun error and the viewer crashes.
Then when I try to log back in I get a DNS error regarding the host name not being found or a message saying the region logout process has started. I log back in eventually and wash, rinse and repeat.
Anyone else having trouble?

Maybe a whiff of cross-pond network problems there, because I haven't seen the dread DNS error myself lately. Or, just possibly, time to reboot the router.

Well I think there are some network type issues because I was having issues with search a few days ago and getting 500 errors it's the buffer overrun error that's concerning me more.

Not sure this is remotely helpful, but I did a *bunch* of parcel group-swapping like you're trying to do, just a couple days ago without any problems, using the current WindLight viewer. I, too, would be concerned about buffer overruns--just haven't experienced them. (knock wood) |
