Land fees and downgrading

Alright, here's the thing. I have no land I own. I want to downgrade my account, but it keeps telling me I have land and have to release it before I can downgrade. I go to the "Your Land" tab, but, like I said, I have no land, so it comes up saying "You Own No Land." Now, I am in a few groups that have land, including my own group, but the land isn't owned by me, it's owned by other people, just added to the group. I didn't think that would have anything to do with it, since I don't own it, nor do I pay the land fees. Yet I am being charged about eight bucks on land fees, as well as the premium account fees. I am just about completely done with this petty game, and I am definitely not willing to continue paying for it. Do we have to ungroup the land for me to downgrade, or am I missing something else here?

Actually, now that I am looking closer, it does seem to say I donated land.

It says;

"Group Name 1536"

and then down below "Total Donated Land: 1536"

How do I get that to say zero? Do I have to be in-world to do this, because I am fixing to go to class tonight, and I'd like to do this now, if I could, but I can't log in. And if I do have to log in, exactly what do I do to get this to go to zero?

You do have to log in to zero it out :(.

Open the window for the group you donated tier to, and under the Land & L$ tab, change the 1536m² to 0m² (if you're leaving the group short of tier that way, it'll warn you and it's polite to pass that on to the group owner :)).

The site may or may not notice the change right away, and you may or may not have to clear cache/relog/zero it out again another time, depending on how quirky the grid is at the time :).
