Using an alt to get around a suspension is not allowed and can result in a permaban.

So let me get this straight... you were NOT running in Dope Mode when you decided to put on woman's underwear and walk around in a welcome area?

Seriously though... it sounds like your main avatar was banned for a week and then you created an alt to get around the ban. That's a big no-no, so they probably banned your machine.

Yeah, it's called "alt abuse". Here's a recent entry in the Incident Report for it:
From: someone
Date: Monday, December 28, 2009
Violation: Community Standards: Violations using Alternate Accounts
Region: None Found
Description: Alt account abuse
Action taken: Warning issued.
LL Resi Team members have a lot of discretion as to the actions they take ... probably you've been suspended, not banned. You could contact support to find out for how long, but it's likely that they sent a notice to one of your accounts when they took the action. May have ended up in your spam filter.
