I have found that furry "hang-outs" really vary. However, some starting points:
Northstar Furnation Luskwood AnthroXtacy etc. This wiki page may have some valuable information as well: http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Islands_and_other_locations_in_Second_Life It really depends on what you are looking for. Caledon is a fur friendly region, as are some other estate regions. My own estate region is fur friendly: Syzygy, and my friend's sci fi sandbox, Habitat SGE, is also very fur friendly.
