i have about 9K m2 of land that i will be divesting myself of later this month.

i'm downsizing my presence in sl so am not overly interested in making a profit on it. this isn't hard since i forgot what i paid for it originally anyway (it was bought in increments over time).

since i see a glut of land sales on the surrounding sims, i am considering pricing it low enough for it to be bought by a landbot.

is anyone aware of the threshhold price per meter that the landbots are searching for?

Find the price on one of the parcels near you and just keep setting the price downward one linden at a time and wait about 5 minutes each time until a landbot show up.

If you search mainland land for sale and sort by price, you will see the breaking point relatively easy.

I am seeing parcels still sitting at $L2 per sq.m.

Either the bots are on vacation, or the threshold is real low.

Yeah, I'm in world looking now. 2.0 L$/sqm looks like the bottom end.

Can't speak for anyone else but I'm paying L$1.3/sqm right now.

looks like L$1-2/m2.

i was a first-land buyer in the land rush (and first-land abuse) days a couple winters ago. back when they HAD first-land. i remember spending up to L$15,000 for a 512 plot. almost L$30/m2. those days are loooooong gone.

I suppose the lindens will still claim that land prices are holding steady.

I pawned off 8 512s to a landbot the other night for $1000L each ($1.95L/sqm). The little bugger scooped em up almost instantly.

Oh my! Getting closer to $L1 per sq. m.

Should see a flood of Zindra emigre's dumping their old mature parcels any time now. Could we go under a buck per?

That account profile is totally blank, and npiof.

Be interesting to see who tries to flip those parcels, and for how much.

I suspect Elanthius isn't going to sell them for that.......

No, Ninjaland is selling at around L$2 per. Right around the level where bots don't bite.

Right, otherwise I end up buying my own land. And that can get messy.

If you still haven't sold it, IM me. For some insane reason I'm in the mood to buy, lately. I'm not a bot or a flipper, I'd actually do something cool with it.

Some bots bite quicker than yours.

I dumped a 512m a few weeks ago for L$2.9 per sq m and the new buyer immediately posted it for more than twice that. I notice it's still for sale and dropping fast. I picked up another 512m that I liked (same sim for all these, plus my main property) in a private sale...IM'd the owner and offered 1/3 less than he was asking and he sold immediately. I could have probably found something cheaper in the sim by waiting, but not much is for sale there. I wonder when it will bottom out?
