Lettuce No, I am afraid you are stuck unless the item is transfereable, then give it to someone you trust to let them reset it. Else you will have to buy a new pair and dont play with it

If the item is copyable you should have taken a copy of the original before you started modding it. Easy to say in hinesight though. If you have moded the only copy you have then there is no way to restore to the default configuration unless you do it manually. Send a note card to the original creator politely requesting a replacement.

For future reference, if you're going to edit something and it's also copyable, make a copy before you start. If you realize you've forgotten to do that while you're in the midst of working on the item, you can still make a copy in inventory with the original settings as long as you haven't detached the version you're editing yet. Just right-click > Copy on the item, then right-click > Paste on a folder. Once you've detached though, any copy you make will have the edited settings.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

you can try (not guaranteed to work but sometimes works for me) using ctrl Z to undo any movements you have done. (doesn't work for textures and such)
I have used ctrl Z quite often, it is random as to when it will actually work, but worth a try
(if you have since picked up the item, or detached then most likely rerezzing will not save the previous steps)

If you have someone you trust that has building skills, you can grant them edit rights, rez the glasses on the ground and let your friend edit them for you.
I have done this for many people when they have "damaged" something that they bought by trying to edit it.

If they are transferable, try exchanging for a new one with the creator.
