So I've finally decided to clean-up before it's too late... (I'm only at 2800+)
I've opened a second window and have been dragging stuff from one to the other, dropping things in new files I've just created. The problem is that files I'm not aiming at quickly open and swallow up the item I'm transferring. A little frustrating and time consuming, trying to find them again.
What am I not doing right? Any tricks?

What am I not doing right? Any tricks? Try to approach your target folder from one side, at a normal (right angle) to the folder you're trying to drop into. (caution: bad ASCII art follows) Bad: `thing ----. `````````\ folder A | `````````| > folder B | `````````| folder C | Good: ``````````| folder A | `thing ------+-> folder B | ``````````| folder C | In the above, you're trying to drop 'thing' into 'folder B'. If you do it at an angle (the 'Bad' case above) you'll wind up with Folder A opening/jumping and/or the destination inventory window scrolling wildly or other hair-tearing problems. If you instead drag it so that the target is oriented to the destination as shown, you're more likely to have it wind up where you intended. Sorry if that's not clear.... it's late here But, give it a try, and let us know how things work out. Good luck! Edit: I had to put the ` character in instead of the spaces I had had... this poor excuse for a bbs eats the whitespace, and the <pre></pre> HTML tags won't preserve them, nor the PHP code set either. So, in the above, pretend the ` chars are spaces.

Just tried it, and yes it works well. I suppose I'm kind of tired too (and impatient) so I've been going about it too quickly. I must learn to relax and slow down. Do things correctly ONCE instead of too quickly 2-3 times... TY
