please help me...my first time owning land.

I just bought some land (yay!), and now I would like to have people come by and visit. I selected the option to have my land appear in the search for 30 lindens a week, but when I try to write up a description, it limits me to only 2 lines of text or so.

My question is, what do I have to do to have a longer description of my land appear in search? Do I have to pay more money, or am I just over looking something? Where do I write up my description?

Yup that one line is the limit. If you want to put in a longer description, you can make a classified advert for the parcel, but you'll have to pay a minimum of L$50/week for that.

If your parcel is just your house, do you really need to advertise it? Just curious.

Oh thanks...now the way I understand it, there is a spot for classifieds, but you make a posting and it lasts for only a week?? You must be talking about another feature.

i think that if you want a longer description, you have to pay more lindens each week.

When placing the ad (via your profile) you have the option to "anto renew", not LL automatically renews the ad and charges you the fee weekly.

The classified is staying if you tick "auto-renew each week". It's the right feature.

There is a check box to make Classifieds auto-renew. Those are the only two options available, About->Places or Classifieds. well, there are events, but those are only for one time special events (if used correctly...)
