So I log into SL the other day and I was going to change my skybox around with different furniture when I notice.. my entire folder is gone. I had a huge folder of all house stuff, plants, and all that in subfolders that has magically vanished. It's been like 3 days now and nothing, and I didn't delete it. Could it be some sort of glitch? D= I'm like ahhh no!

D= I'm like ahhh no! It could indeed be a glitch. The common practice is to clear cache, relog. Support will usually have you relog in the Pooley region. One thing you can also try (after clearing cache and relogging) is pick up an object you know was in that folder, and se where it goes. Sometimes that will trigger its appearance, it seems. Finally, of course, the dread support ticket for lost inventory, which can be a chore. Keep on it if you do have to file. _____________________

Also, have you tried actually searching inventory for some of the names of objects you know are in that folder? You could have accidentally dragged that folder into another one.

I logged in the other day and here are 3 folders I have never seen before. All for a hunt that I was supposed to be in that I figured I was not accepted to because I never heard anything from them. Hunt has been over for a month lol.

This must be part of Linden Labs' "more predictable experience".
![]() I echo what LittleMe said: Check inside other folders. It is *incredibly* easy to accidentally drop one folder inside another given the way your inventory slides around all over the place as folders unfold - even the one you're hovering over! _____________________

I have had experiences with missing folders as well as undeletable folders. After much cache-clearing, I had to open a support ticket which eventually fixed the matter. It had me worried for a while and it's happened more than once. Hang in there... it's not fatal.

i dont think i have ever "lost" an entire folder. However, i have "misplaced" a few from time to time. Usually happens when im copying folders from one place to another. Sometimes ill grab the wrong folder and drag it somewhere, and other times ill go to move the scroll bar either up or down, miss the bar and grab a folder instead.
Easiest way is to just do a search for something that was in the missing folder. If it doesnt show up, then send in a ticket. _____________________

Thanks everyone for the replies =D I did try picking up an object that had been in the folder previously and it just got sent to the default Object folder. I also searched for items I knowingly had inside the folder with no results either. Clearing the cache didnt work either =/ so I'm sort of at a loss! I'll keep looking into it though, thanks everyone =D

my inventory leaves me permanently confuddled......every time I log on, it's in a different order top to bottom, completely randomised with no apparent logic. I have no idea what's missing, misplaced or new. If I reset filters and re-organise by date for instance, before I log, it'll be all mixed up again next time. I call it the good 'ol LL shuffle.
