I believe you would have had to downloaded it to your computer. If I understand it correctly, LL doesn't keep the history more than a month or two.
Correction: This is from the knowledge base. Is it possible to view transactions older than 30 days? It is not currently possible to view Linden dollar (L$) transactions older than 30 days. You can download all transactions in the past 30 days as an Excel spreadsheet for later reference. To download your transaction history: Go to https://secondlife.com/account/transactions.php In the From field, choose the earliest possible date Click the download button Save the .xls file to your hard drive _____________________

Transaction History

Thanks Damian,
I downloaded the transactions spreadsheet the other day. It only goes back one month. The reason I wanted my transactions from Feb 08 is because I can't remember the exact Linden $$ amount I paid for a parcel of land last year. Maybe what I actually need to know is what the SL exchange rate was on the date of the purchase. I know the US $$ amount I paid for the land, so it would be easy to calculate. Do you know how to look up the SL exchange rate on a particular day of the previous year? Thanks, Trish |

have you tried slx? its likely they have exchange rate data available.
i reckon its not worth much effort though. it will only amount to pennies. Thanks Damian, I downloaded the transactions spreadsheet the other day. It only goes back one month. Thanks, Trish if you purchased the lindens the same day you bought the land, look in your account info, the accounts statements might help you know what you paid and the exchange (but only if you bought the lindens via the lindex on or around the same day that you bought the land) I am not sure if it shows the amount of lindens bought though (I do not buy lindens so not sure about that part, but no harm in looking) _____________________

Nina and Rhaorth,
Thanks for your suggestions. Nina, please explain "have you tried six" and Rhaorth, to answer your question. Yes, I purchased the Lindens on the same day I purchased the land. I have the statement for that month too. It lists both the linden $$ and the land purchase transactions, but it only shows the US dollar amount. It doesn't include how many linden dollars I purchased for the US dollar amount to buy the land. That's the missing piece of the puzzle. Trish |

I wish we had more than just a month of transaction history, or have them auto emailed to us, as I keep forgetting to grab a copy of mine. ![]() Nina is referring to xstreetsl (previously called slexchange or SLX for short) being you have the dollar (US) amount you paid, maybe xstreetsl has a history of what the exchange was back then (does secondlife.com keep it archived anywhere?) _____________________

It is a problem. LL only give us 30 days of records, that means that in months with 31 days, we can't have the month transactions in one shot.
I use to download the spreadsheet every 15 days (on the 16th and 1st day, every month). |

I tried that but have a terrible memory to remember I would gladly stay premium for that option (have them auto mailed each month, or give us more than a 30 day record) _____________________

No such luck. Looks like the only choice to keep records of your SL transactions is to download the monthly transactions spreadsheet which I didn't do in feb 08. Thanks for the xstreets explanation and suggestion to look for exchange rate history. I've visited the website a couple times. I'll check it out and let you know what I find. Trish |

Trish I couldn't find historical exchange rate info, charts or spreadsheets on xstreets either. But I did find a web page link while searching this forum that lists exchange rate averages by month from 1/2005 thru 10/2008. Here's a link if anyone's interested in historical linden ex rate data: http://learjeff.net/SL/stats-2008-11.htm I can't believe this info isn't available to SL residents. It should be easily accessible information to all of us. |
