Help with my Peugeot 308 RC Z

I purchased a peugeot and after a while, it just stopped working properly. whenever i rez it, the engine sound is on and when i sit in it, all the arrow keys do is move the camera. i get things like script run-time error and bounds check error when i rez it. please help!

rez it.
Right click and edit.
On the first tab, there is a button that lists the creator. Pushing that button will open their profile.

Look through their picks for ways to contcat them regarding problems with thier creations. If that does not get you anywhere, write down your problems in a notecard and pass that to them. Be sure to include your full name so that can get back to you.

i've im'd him already. he's offline. i also sent him an im a few months ago regarding a replacement car for accidently purging my car, and he didn't respond.

Try resetting the scripts, if you can (click edit, then choose reset scripts from the tools menu).

That is unfortunate. I'm not familiar with that vehicle, but I would suspect there has to be some way to make it stop the mode its in and accept your drive commands. Sorry I don't know. :-(

yeah, it's a peugeot, next time i'm getting a car, it'll be a scion. i'm not wasting another 400L$ on something that will just break down after one day.

Hope those Scions are Modify/Copy. There's just no way a vehicle script can survive all the insanity that SL throws at them. If a vehicle scripter wants satisfied customers, they have to let them reset the scripts, and Modifiable prims is the only way to make that a sure thing under all circumstances.

Is Nissan still in-world? They were free, and worked well. The Pontiac was ok, but it always gives me fits when using the options on it. The Scions are good too, however I haven't tried driving in SL for a long time.

Now if someone could just make Subarus....

lol this thing has gone way off topic. i'm trying to find out what is wrong with my car and how i can fix it. no offense to anyone, but please don't post unless you can tell me what's wrong, or if and how i can fix it. thanks

Can't be, the arrow keys have never worked in Fords.

I can't tell you how to fix it, but you might want to consider doing another thread, you could ask for money to buy a new one.

If you want a smart car for free check out Seat in SL. (Seat Auto Emocion Island, SEAT auto emocion (69, 52, 32)). They've got a couple of nice freebies - Ibiza in citrus and Leon in black, and a more upmarket Cupra model if you complete their driving test, which is certainly doable.
