I am having a problem and I hope someone out there can help me. Whenever I teleport, I crash. And I can try to log back in a dozen times and I am still crashed. Cannot do anything. I have been a resident for over a year, and this problem is just now starting. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated!

If the usual procedures like clearing cache, quiting and re-logging back in haven't helped. It could just be your turn at the "constant crashing" cycle that most of us sooner or later go through. There can be a number of factors contributing to this. I always favor the servers can't handle the load in the sim, high numbers of online avatars,somebody is pushing the script limits in the sim, or everything is just completely bonkers.
I know some will ask how old is your video card and could it be failing? I'm not a tech head, but I just usually chalk it up as a mystery of the SL universe. It is just part of the SL experience, welcome to the club.

few things client side one may do;
Defrag hard drive (if first time plan for it to take some time). run a regitry cleaner.
run antispyware program(Lava-soft adware, zone alarm, Trend Micro online virus search etc,(these best done after deleting all temp internet files & cookies, also do full system, deep scans) I will turn most of these off when entering sl with my main virus protection set with exception to sl.
Be sure to be using lastest; video card drivers sound card drivers Direct x Quicktime Check your firewalls, you may find your running more than one, could cause undue issues affecting speed. There is a bandwidth test in the support section of secondlife,com can alert you to your IP speed. If on a multiple connection at home with another puter change the port number in preferences to something like 13001 or above or insure both or all puters not using the same port. Minimize any undue open windows or programs running, having "my space" running and skype, gimp, and your transaction page the old freeway your racing down becomes Long Islands largest car dealership (jammed). Before each log in clear all caches (Iwill also repair my internet connection since this will clear the network cache as well).
Have somone knowledgeable walk thru your settings in preferences each tab if you aren't confident with what the settings are or what might be best (this is another reason to know your bandwidth speed)
If after that still having issues, there are other fun things to look at and do lol. More than likely though you will see some improvement if you havn't some of these things.
