a few problems (logging in naked with no inventory)

I just logged in for the first time in a few days to find most of my inventory has gone, i was naked and i was teleported to a really busy club (due to "Last location is temporarily unavalable). i tried the usual shiznit (clear cache, reinstall, reboot etc) but nowt, i didn't really have anything of value in my inventory except at least 7000 textures i uploaded.
I've downgraded my account back to basic becase i sent a support ticket only to be told there was nothing they could do, and they wouldn't even let me have a free month premium or give me any L$.

Ah, sounds like you've been hacked.
Or at least, there isn't any 'robbed, stripped, and dumped in a club' bug that I'm aware of.
I'd really, really, really, recommend ensuring that account, and all others you may have are locked down as well as possible. For hopefully all-too-obvious reasons.
Good luck, I'd be off the deep end if it happened to me.

I've downgraded my account back to basic becase i sent a support ticket only to be told there was nothing they could do, and they wouldn't even let me have a free month premium or give me any L$. dude, that sucks. try all the cache tricks listed on the SL website. i lost my inventory too (about 3 weeks ago) but after several clearing caches and relogs, i finally got it back. uploading textures is time consuming and expensive (with that many), so i don't envy your predicament if you can't get your stuff back. i hope this works out. if you are basic, then you gave up your sim or did you sell it back to your other alt?

I'm wondering... what would be in it for the hacker? Apart from the obvious, you know, griefing? You mention they wouldn't transfer your money to another account, not to get caught. That would be the same for transferable stuff, right? So they would go through all that trouble just to sweep you inventory clean, for the fun of it? That's sad man |

Delete the folder at c:\Documents and Settings\'User Name'\Application Data\SecondLife, then try logging in again. Sometimes you get bad data in there and clearing the cache doesn't remove it all. If you keep chat logs and they follow the default path, they'll be in that folder as well, so you may want to pull them out.
You might also want to try the uninstall/reinstall again after you've deleted the folder.
Oh, and Application Data is a hidden folder, so you'll need to make it visible if you haven't already.
