Is there supposed to be audio in the videos?

I am on help island (starting to see my posts all around here?? hehe) and I want to watch some of the videos, particularly on textures, prims and such. When I press play, I don't hear any audio, but suspect that there should be some.

Here is what I have:

My audio on my computer is on - I can hear sounds from other programs.
I have streaming audio enabled in preferences.
I have sl audio settings all set to max, and mute is not checked.
I have quicktime (I do have iTunes, so it is probably the iTunes version)

Is the last my problem? Any other things it could be?

Thanks!

The Sound button (lower right on your SL window) will expand when clicked. Ensure that the settings in there are to let you hear music/video as well.

Music and Video are two seperate things. You get one control tab at the bottom of your screen for one, and another for the other. So make sure you have teh sound on for the video.

Also, make a check through your prefernce options to check ALL your media settings, and make sure you didn't overlook something.

Good luck and welcome to SL ^.^

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.
