I ain't got it. I am completely stipendless. A stipend free zone.

By the way, what's a stipend?

Uh, it's OK. I know what to do.

Only the 5th+ thread has to do that. No worries.

This is almost as bad as seeing the angry crowds outside the post office when the welfare checks are late :p

Hey, they finally got around to blogging it! This has been going on for HOURS and you're just now getting around to telling us about it? I wish LL's PR section was this strict with the "announcements."

So, the Lindens-printing press is broken?

Seriously, this has me wondering. Surely it's not a cash-flow thing, but just a software problem.

Or...could it be a cash-flow problem? Do they adjust the rate of exchange each Tuesday when those payments go out, to reflect the now-greater money supply? Or is the total disbursed just a drop in the bucket, compared with all the Lindens in circulation in-world?

Hey, they finally got around to blogging it!

And about the asset-type errors people have been reporting here today, in a number of different threads.

/me was wondering earlier about how quickly we in these forums hear about problems vs the flog vs how quickly LL updates their status blog. I see zero in the flog about this stuff so we, apparently, kick seroius bum.

/me now wonders if LL is just slow to update the status blog or if we're really that much faster at noticing these problems than they are.

I vote caring more than LL about it. LL seems to be of the mindset that if they don't blog it, it isn't happening and thus, they don't have to fix it.

I also note that most of us are more likely to use the forum to ask if others are having the problem than we are to report it to LL or on the flog.

Stipends aren't only for premium members. I have a couple of old pre 6/06/06 paid basc accounts ($9.95 one time fee) that still get a L$50/week stipend.
It's like a Social Security payment for us old timers *grin*

Actually, LL probably only knows about grid problems when one of them decides to wander to the forums and they see a bunch of posts about problems.

These newbies. A stipend is what some peopel expect to recieve for a promise I am sure Lindens deeply regret giving many moons ago.

I wouldnt count on it if I were you.
