Is there any way to save an outfit combination, including skins/hair/accessories/shape/clothing/etc, so that the next time I want that complete look, simply click something, instead of scrolling through the entire inventory and clicking each item manually? Currently I have to write down every single outfit combination on a notecard, and refer back to it if I want that look again. Lots of items are no copy so moving them into a folder will not work. Thanks. Doesn't have to be default viewer, I'm using Gemini right now anyways.

There is. Go into "Edit Appearance" and click "Save Outfit." You will get a screen with checkboxes where you can check all the items you'd like included in the outfit. Then you can name the outfit and it gets saved into a folder of that name in your inventory.
If the items are copiable, the new outfit folder will contain copies of them - if not, the items will be moved to that folder, so be careful when doing this with no copy items. (ETA: I see reading your post again that you are using no-copy items - that limits the usefulness of this somewhat, but as far as I know there is no other way to achieve the one-click outfits you want.)
Then when you want to wear the outfit you can right click on it and select "Add to outfit" (or "Replace outfit" if you are careful!).
You can put as much of what you wear as you want into the outfit folder - skins, hair, HUDs, clothes, attachments, whatever you like. I hope people will chime into this thread with the different ways they use this feature, I have read lots of clever ideas in similar discussions here on the forums in the past.

Just make a folder in inventory

Place all the items you want to wear together in the folder, and then you can right click the folder and choose "add to oufit" and it will put on all the items, or "replace outfit" and it will put on all the items in the folder *and* remove everything else you had on.
What I do is make one folder called "Base Avatar" which has my normal skin, hair, eyes, shape, and any HUDs or attached gadgets I always use. Then I make other folders with outfit sets, sorted into main folders by type of outfit, then subfolders for each complete outfit. That way I don't mess with the basic items I don't change very often.
Things I change separate from an outfit (shoes, jewelry, accessories, alternate hair, prim based avatars), go in category folders with those names, and then sub-folders with each item set. Typically shoes, for example, have a left, right, and foot shape, so those go together in a folder with the name of the shoe style, so I can put on all three at once. My folder structure looks like this:
My Inventory ..Avatars and Outfits ....Base Avatar ....Business Suits ....Casual Outfits ....Roleplay Outfits ......Fireman ......Pirate ......Police ......etc ....Accessories ....Hats ....Shoes ....etc

You both are far too organized!
I do the folder thing also. It makes changing a snap.
I don't use a base av folder though, I just add my skin, shape, ect. to each folder. I don't sugest changing in public this way though or people may see you nakey.

From: Madhu Maruti I hope people will chime into this thread with the different ways they use this feature, I have read lots of clever ideas in similar discussions here on the forums in the past. I have made a set of dummy clothes using the transparent texture from the library, and a set of "attachment removers" (objects that immediately detach themselves when attached, bumping the previous attachment, if any). I use these to remove the last traces of a previous outfit when changing using "Add To Outfit". (Gentlemen, you may wish to consider something like this to prevent those embarassing events when you put your clothes back on, but forget to detach the odd body part.)

I organise my clothing in folders and subfolders - when I remember. What I would have liked to have, is an inventory function where you don't save the worn items in a new folder, but where you could sort of "bookmark" all that is worn (leaving them in original folders) and then just click that to add those items to outfit later, thus making it possible to make different outfits using the same no copy items. What can I say, I'm a dreamer.

I already indicated in the opening thread that lots of my items are no-copy so creating folders is out of the question.

That JIRA is 2 years old, and it's still a good idea *sigh*. And yes, it would make the copy flag on clothes almost obsolete (you just wouldn't be able to send no-copy clothing to an alt while maintaining your outfit complete, but that's only fair I think), but at the same time, it would mean that buying clothes would be more convenient: it's either transfer, or it's no transfer. I have a hunch that the reason why this isn't included yet, is that it's hard or straining for the server(s) to look up whether a piece of clothing you want to wear actually exists in your inventory. Can't think of another reason why this was never added yet.

The shortcut would have to be handled in the client, it would send a reference to the target to the server as if that's what you selected.
