Asking for a Demo?

In my hunt for wedding dresses, I came across the gown that I think is "me." The problem? There's no demo version (and for its price tag, I'd rather look before leaping).

How do I ask the creator for a demo version? Should I offer to pay for one, or pay her for her time in making one, or ...?

If you'd be happy with just seeing it modelled then I'd think that's a fair request.

If he/she doesn't have a demo ready already then it would take some time to stamp all the textures so it's probably not likely they'd go through all that trouble just for you.

Just leave an IM asking if it's possible to it modelled on someone, or if they don't have a demo version to drop on you. The worst they can do is say no :).

(Congratulations and good luck with your dress hunt and enjoy your special day :))

A lot of people on the forums have wedding gowns too. So someone here might have it.

I agree you'd want to check the gown before buying. Sometimes they are sized for really tall people and are not modifiable or are too complicated to resize. Some have flexi skirts that use alpha and you end up seeing this shifting layers effect that can be quite distracting.

Well, I found her customer service representative on, and asked for a demo ...

Not only did I get an entire fashion show of their wedding gowns, I was briefly permitted to try the one on. I had that "oh, oh, this is MINE" moment. So giddy!

That is great you found some one to permit that and it worked for you.
One thing I have discovered is certain things even uv related fashions are shape sensitive with certain designs.
And its always the case with prim related fashions.

Fantastic Morgan... I would like to know which store that was, since its the sort of good story that offsets the bad stories so often seen here... The owner certainly deserves the acknowledgment. As far as I know its not taboo to name names when its a positive.... is it?
