Guys im new here and i want to know if it's possible to make some kind of advertisement inside Second Life. It's just to promote our website and our cause for Copenhagen 2009 so that people in Secong Life can vote in our website, do you think that's possible and if yes how can we do this?  Help me with this cause please |

sure, it's possible. make some t-shirts with your message and go different places wearing it. or put up a sign on your land and hope people see it. whether your ad will be effective may be another matter.

You could ...
- put it in your forum sig (cost: free)
- put it in your inworld profile (cost: free)
- hold an information event and advertise it in "events" (cost: free, but you will need access to land)
- join some relevant groups and send a group notice (cost: free, check the group's rules for notices first, or ask the group owner)
- set up an info display somewhere and have the land "show in search" (cost: L$30/week, again, you will need access to land)
- take out a classified (cost: starting from L$50/week I think - the more you pay, the higher your ad will appear)
You mention voting for something ... is this by any chance the "Who wants to be ...?" thing?

Help me with this cause please Take out a classified - for free in that section of the secondlife.com forums, or for a price in world in the Classifieds (use the search engine tab.) Take out an ad in a magazine. Buy an ad space in a popular mall or club. I'm not too informed on your project, that's all I have in general. Good luck with it. |

there are scripts that you can put into prims that you can open up a link to your site as well. i don't know the names of them off hand but they are not too hard to make..  |
