Weird Error after log-out.

I haven't been in world much (fiance's home, my computer has been hijacked) But I did update to the latest viewer and no problems in world at all. But....when I log out....after SL closes completely....I get a weird 'windows' error in a white box (complete with that annoying sound that always accompanies a windows bork) that says something about unable to bla bla bla memory yada yada yada LOL

I know I know....I need to screen shot it or read it and be specific. But I'm wondering if it's A. the updated viewer.....or B. my fiance turned the settings on the new graphics card to max. There doesn't seem to be anything obviously affected in game and I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen any kind of error messeges (in windows) AFTER log-off???? I also wonder if it has anything to do with my saving snapshots to my hard drive since that's what I do in-world.

Incidentally......last night I shut my PC down (fiance says don't, leave it on, but I'm too much in the habit of turning it off at night) anyway.....when I came in to turn it on this morning, the PC was on....and there was a messge about some kind of photo upload failure....."progam will be shut down". I hadn't done any kind of photo uploading in SL or otherwise when I shut down the PC....so that kind of freaked me out.....first that it was on, and second, that I had that messege. There was no indication as to what 'program' it was referring to.

Yep, screen shots would be helpful.

LOL ok...I'm gonna try to get in this afternoon and take a shot of the error after log out. :p I was just curious if anyone had any kind of other weird error messeges after log off. But I'll post the screen shot ASAP.

Actually, I saw one twice yesterday that I hadn't seen before. The past few days, I've been crashing on TP. Just blip! and no SL on the screen. So yesterday, I crash during a TP and when I try to log back in, it said something like "Avatar is not in the region. Avatar may be in a nearby region. Try again" (paraphrased). WTF?

This is the messege. I went in for a few minutes....wandered around Sinistyle and took some pics....no problems at all in-world and the images saved just fine. I turned my graphics to Ultra.....but that in itself causes no issue in world....and this error has been happening since the last update (and since my fiance turned my graphics card to max) Again...it's not an SL error...this happens in Windows every time I log OFF SL.

I've been seeing that too, but it's causing crashes. Can you try turning your graphics card down to High and see if it happens?

Hm, yeah....I kind of wondered if it was the graphics card. Weird thing is I have no problems running SL......I don't crash and the graphics in-world are beautiful. (oddly tho....the game my fiance just bought Gears of War .... has acted a bit sketchy here and there)

Well, my thought is that while it may not appear to be an SL error, the fact that it's happening when you leave SL means that it *could* be.

I have been seeing problems with SL not closing well with the last RC.
Vista crash messages, music continuing to paly and worst yet, sometimes it keeps SL running as a process after the application has supossedly shutdown.

SNAFU.

It really is not causing me any concern other than the fact that I just reboot after playing SL to make sure everything is cleaned up. I usually end the day with a clean boot anyway.

I get this exact error every so often when I crash -- I crash a few times a night and will take this error every 2-3 days. It has only been happening for the last few weeks, maybe a month or so.

I am still using the 1.18.5.3 viewer with Nicholaz. I had actually uninstalled and re-installed all of my viewer versions about that time, so I thought maybe I had messed something up. Since it doesn't actually seem to affect SL, I haven't worried about it too much.
